Gas vs Electric Sauna Heaters

Two routes to the same heat, with very different installation consequences.

## Electric Simple to operate and control, widely supported, but dependent on available electrical capacity. The practical question is whether your consumer unit and supply can take the load, and what a new circuit run to the bottom of a garden costs.

## Gas Removes the electrical constraint, which is why gas heaters are often specified for off-grid and remote garden cabins. In exchange you take on flue, ventilation, clearance and fuel supply requirements, and installation by a qualified engineer.

## How to choose Price the supply work for both routes before comparing heater prices. The heater is rarely the deciding cost.

NEATLY currently lists one verified gas heater — the Steam & Oak Aurora 81 at 8.1kW. Further comparison will be published as verified merchant data is added.
