This policy explains what NEATLY collects when you browse the site. NEATLY is operated from the United Kingdom and follows UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
Outbound click events. When you click a retailer button we record the destination, the page you clicked from, a random session identifier, a coarse device type, referrer and campaign tags. This tells us which finds are useful. We do not store your IP address or a name against these events.
Newsletter details. If you subscribe, we store the email address you give us so we can send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Account details. Administrators of this site have an account with an email address and a role. Ordinary visitors do not need an account.
Why we can use it
Click analytics are processed under legitimate interests — understanding which recommendations work. Newsletter emails are processed on consent, which you give by subscribing and withdraw by unsubscribing.
Sharing
We use a hosting and database provider to run the site. Retailers you click through to are independent controllers of anything you do on their sites — read their privacy policies.
Retention
Click events are kept in aggregate-friendly form for as long as they are useful for reporting. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and you can object to processing. Contact us through the contact page. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
